In recent years the community has morphed from a sleepy village of mostly retirees to a bustling haven of community projects attracting families from all parts of the world.  With its beautiful beaches and lush mountains covered in primary rain forest, this area has a high biodiveristy and an increasing focus on environmental programs.  Already there are a number of activism programs that children and adults can participate in and have a direct positive impact.
