PROGRAMS
There are a number programs are available for students to choose from:
The Core program is for students wanting a full day of school from 8:30am to 2pm (or later depending on extra-curricular activities), 5 days a week, for the full year.
The Cycle program is created for families who have just begun their exploration of Costa Rica and/ or the Costa Ballena area and what to experience a full 10-week cycle before committing further.
There are also Part-time options, where an alternative program is tailored for your child
to support specific homeschooling or other learning activities.
CLASSES
Each week students learn across a range of FOUNDATIONAL subjects. These are taught in each or every other cycle and is where learning is scaffolded for students attending the Core Program or for consecutive cycles.
In every cycle there are also ELECTIVE classes, which are designed to provide diversity and introduce new ideas and approaches in a fun way to curious minds! These electives will still fall under the umbrella of a foundational subject though are designed to be completed in its entirety within 10 weeks so that any student can join.
