Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to refine the lunch process. Our aim is to provide meals that are healthy, accessible, and cost-effective, while balancing a range of preferences and needs.
Lunch is also served at different times across locations, as ALP and EEP have different schedules, so we appreciate your understanding, and your patience with the occasional hiccups as we continue to improve the process.

🍴 Portions
We are also refining how we manage portion sizes. In the past, ALP students were able to self-serve; while most managed this well, there were times when some took larger portions, which meant less for others and occasionally led to food waste.
Going forward, meals will be portioned more consistently to ensure everyone receives a fair share. We will also aim to prepare extra, and students are always welcome to come back for a second helping if they are still hungry.
As a reminder, lunch is intended to be a balanced meal, not to replace breakfast or snacks, so please ensure children arrive having eaten and with additional snacks for the day.
📝 Ordering
Lunches ordered on or by Friday for the following week: ₡2500
Lunches ordered after that Friday: ₡4000
No reimbursement once ordered.
Ordering by Friday helps us plan, reduce waste, and keep costs low. Late orders require last-minute adjustments, which increases costs.

💰 Payment
Cash payments: Please send in a clearly labelled envelope with your child’s name and the days being paid for. Alternatively, send a message to Jungle Academy Whatsapp +506 7220 1100 with the same details. We kindly ask to avoid sending unlabelled cash or small amounts without context, as this creates confusion and extra admin.
Other payments: If payment is not made in advance, we will track and send an invoice via email. Please ensure invoices are settled promptly upon receipt.
